Sony Preparing For A Massive Revamp To PlayStation Plus With Free Top Tier Games and Proper Vita Integration
PlayStation Plus is an amazing offer PSN / SEN users can take advantage, for the mere price of $50 a year players get free content every month ranging from full retail games to mini’s and even free dynamic themes and avatars along with early access to closed beta’s and greater savings on sales. It seems that Sony is making plans of revamping the PlayStation Plus program and Ross McGrath who is the PlayStation Plus at SCEE has even said ” By the way, if you don’t have a PS+ subscription, now is the time to get one. For real. Just get 3 months if you aren’t sure. Trust me. ” ( You can view the Tweet Here ) on his twitter account. Could this be a hint that the months following E3 will be heaven for us PlayStation Plus Subscribers?
PlayStation Plus is undoubtedly any PlayStation users must have, it is not an XBOX Live and instead offers $400 worth of content in only a year at average I would say that at $50 a year which is ~$4 every month is well worth the free content every month and all the stuff that comes along with it.
According to Eurogamer PlayStation is going to address something big at this years E3 regarding PlayStation Plus: (The Following Has Been Taken From the Source)
Multiple sources have indicated that part of Sony’s E3 press conference, set for Monday 4th June, will be devoted to running through the revamp, which is designed to help convince more people to sign up to the premium subscription service.
One of the ways Sony will do this is by giving subscribers top tier games for free, and implementing proper integration with PS Vita. Plus on Vita will offer Vita exclusive titles and DLC and cloud services that mean you won’t have to connect the handheld to a PlayStation 3 or a PC to back up saves and other content.
So could this mean that the coming months has some interesting content in store for us? I am hoping it’s true because I already love my subscription very much and really look forward to even more content. I hope Sony has something really good planned out and I especially like the changes they are doing for the PS Vita regarding PlayStation Plus. This should help provide people incentive to buy Plus on the Vita if they haven’t done so already.
