Nintendo has made a number of announcements this morning, including a confirmation of The Last Story coming to North America, as well as a release date for a few other titles.

Nintendo confirmed that The Last Story will release this year and Xenoblade Chronicles will release on April 6. Nintendo also confirmed Mario Tennis Open for the 3DS on May 20, and it will include online multiplayer. You can also keep an eye out for Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memory (a Fatal Frame spin-off) on Friday, April 13.

Nintendo has also made sure to reiterate release dates for Poképark 2: Wonders Beyond (February 27), Mario Party 9 (March 11), and Kid Icarus: Uprising (March 23).

i'm not sure if this means  Xenoblade will release in the U.S on this date, but it would be welcome.

Really hope Mario Tennis Open has an RPG SP mode like its GBC and GBA counterparts had. If so day 1 buy.

indded if it iwll be a kind of RPG tennis. day one... However online mode make me think of a Wii and GC Mario's Tennis style.

I guess that I'll pick up Xenoblade Chronicles since nothing else worth buying is releasing on the Wii in the immediate future.

No it's just a port of the GC version! The music and sound effects are the same.

The GBC version was so good. Sakuraba does chiptune amazingly, sad he only does ambient JRPG stuff now.

It's already out in the other regions, and your announcement comes from an American source. All possible evidence points to yes.
