I wrote a comment on some thread a while ago saying how I was VERY dissapointed with this game (Skyward Sword) and gave reasons why. As expected the comment was met with many people defending the quality of the game. It currently sits at 93 on Metacritic which is the lowest Metascore of any console Zelda to date (not including that Four Swords game for the Gamecube). Still, 93 is a great Metascore and many people consider it the Wii's best game.

 So here is how this is going to work, I'm going to add a poll with the scores 1 through 10 and you simply select the score you think the game deserves. If you want to give it an 8.7 or something like that then just round it to the nearest natural number (which in this case would be 9) and then select that number in the poll. I do ask that you type a comment with the actual score of 8.7.

 Now these aren't rules. You don't have to do any of this to comment on this thread. If you just want to say that Skyward Sword rules or this thread sucks then that is fine with me.

Gave it a one. I've never played the game so it therefore hasn't provided me with any entertainment whatsoever.

I'm gonna go ahead and give it a 10/10. It had some flaws but in the end, I can overlook every single one of them. It was just an enjoyable game. After a slow start, I felt joy playing this game. JOY. This game is like a girl you start dating and, before you know it, you can't imagine life before or without her. It had some flaws but this game made me so happy while i played it--it left me so satisfied when I finished it. I love this game. I love it.

I'd give it an 8. If it didn't tell you what a Rupee all the time and had regular classic controls than I'd give it a 10. I think we've all played enough Zelda games to the point we don't need our hand held quite so much. As for my preference of classic controls, well I just don't like motion controls even when they do them right like in Skyward Sword. I will always prefer a standard controller to even the best motion controls.

Simply amazing game. Only real drawback was that the menus used motion code instead of precise IR. That in itself would have greatly improved the only real control issues.

Other than that the game was amazing.
