I agree with all of that. Also, it needs to have lots of blood and cussin' for mature gamers like me.

Around the Network

All of those things are horrendous ideas. What pokemon needs is the ability to not have to but 33 different games to catch all the pokemon. And they need to expand games to include multiple regions, like gold and silver.

Time for hype

I want the ability to walk diagonally. Given game like Zelda ALttP did it all those years ago, it can't be too hard to implement.

this is one of the worst articles ive ever seen. this guy is so out of touch with what makes pokemon successful.

first, the focus is never on the character so there is no need for dialogue choices a customizable character would be cool though, but only in looks. the focus of pokemon is, (surprise) on the pokemon and it shoudl remain that way. the route system is ideal for handheld play because it allows you to pick it up and not be lost and it gives you a basic framework for flow of travel. having an mmo defeats the purpose of pick up and play, it sounds like this guys just wants a console monster hnter with the pokemon nintendo has created. and dlc would be awful, with each new game we get a whole new world and mechanics, dlc would just allow laziness and poor pokemon with no changes to the game world.

THIS!!! it boggles my mine that game freak hasn't done this! specaily at this point of the game I'm sure the 3DS(or even the DS) is capable of producing a game that atleast expands 3 continents.
