Hello everyone. Have you noticed the option list in local mutilplayer mode has got thinner?
To explain, me and my friends liked to play long 32 tracks championships for 2 reasons: 1st As anyone we like long matches. 2nd On a long championship bad luck tends to compensate with good luck so, in the end, it's a fair competition. Why MK7 doesn't let you set how may races you want play? Is this a feature you have to unlock or simply it isn't there? In the 2nd case it's a bit disappointing, expecially considering it won't cost any effort for the developer to add something this simple. In MK64 and MKDD you don't have this option either but, at least, you can do it "manually" since the score does not reset every 4 races, in MK7 it's not the case.
Another thing, in MKDS and MKWii you can chosse both the race mode (50cc,100cc,150cc,Mirror) and the CPU level (easy/hard). Then why in MK7 we get a downgrade instead of an upgrade? Or am I missing something? On MKDS I used to play with normal CPU level in multiplayer, on MK Wii I used to play on normal or hard depending on who was my opponent. In MK7 in forced to chooce between dumb AI on lame 50cc, or cool 150cc with hard AI, interferring too much imo with actual players (expecially in a 4 race cup where a bad position can be decisive). Even in this case, it would be that hard for the developer to add this feature? i don't think so.
Aside from this two annoying lacks I wanted to point out, I'm really enjoying the game. The handling is arguably the best in series, the tracks are also some of the best, the online is better than ever.
