As you may have heard, famous Minecraft developer and founder of the video game studio Mojang Markus "Notch" Persson was sued by Bethesda Softworks, developer of games like The Elder Scrolls series or Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, over the name "Scrolls", the newest game of the small software studio from Sweden. Apparently Bethesda thinks the name "Scrolls" could be mistaken for Bethesda's game series The Elder Scrolls and may shet a wrong light on it.
Well, it looks like Mojang can keep the name "Scrolls. Notch won an injunction on the name, though Bethesda can still appeal the ruling. “We won the interim injunction! We can keep using the name ‘Scrolls’. ZeniMax/Bethesda can still appeal the ruling, but I’m very happy.”
Apparently Notch also offered Bethesda a match of Quake 3. Three of the best players from Bethesda against Three of the best players of Mojang. If Mojang wins the match, they can keep the name, if Bethesda wins, Notch would change the name to Bethesda's desires.

IMO, Bethesda really lost much respect from me, I see no way how The Elder Scrolls could be mistaken in any way with Scrolls. oh, and LOL at Notch's offer for the Quake 3 match.
