That made me feel compassionate/happy for the guy. The father reacted much better than i thought he would. I wouldn't stop loving my son if he was gay, but i would feel a bit disappointed at the beginning.

Also, american soldiers on german soil? WTF???

I assume he was streaming live from 1945. Or it could be that he's on a NATO base or something. Both are plausible.
