Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Gamestop still selling USED Mario Kart Wii for $55

Tagged games:

Brand new is $60.

The game also comes bundled with new Wii.

Are people really buying it used for $55? Does not compute.

I guess they want an appealing number.Come one guys, whats more appealing than a 55?

Gamestop is known to have insane prices. However, even tought it's a 2008(?) game it's still 3rd in the WW chart. No wonder why they haven't cut the price.

mario kart is still selling so they are selling it at high prices so they can get a profit. When there's high demand for a game, there's no need to lower the price( In a retailer's point of view)

Doesn't surprise me actually. Maybe GameStop is pretty cool in the US but the shops in Germany are crap.
Used games always have insane price tags and you might think "oh, it's a little less expensive than everywhere else" until you notice it's all used.
NFS Shift, used, no case, no manual -> 16€
you can get that game new for less lol

I don't look at GameStop anymore. Maybe if I was in the US it'd be different.

Online competition won't die out until the next instalment is on the horizon, I remember back in the N64 days, that Mario Kart was $24.99 during the entire N64 life-span, if I remember correctly...
