We know that M$ has an immense amount of wealth, if M$were to acquire quantic dream it will be a slap to the face for Sony for not acquiring them earlier, and it will be a big benefit to M$.

Their kind of games would probably not sell as much on the Xbox due to its demographics, making a bad decision out of the ordeal.
It's a match that doesn't really make sense. If I'm not mistaken QD have a contract with Sony at the moment, which is now their second exclusive contract. They're in a great position at the moment, being funded by a huge publisher who allows them creative freedom, promotes their games with strong advertising, and they have already created a fan-base on one system with their first game.
They haven't had business relations in the past with MS, and stand to gain nothing really if MS acquired them at the moment, beyond if MS offered a really sweet deal. As their games aren't mega hits, it's wouldn't really make sense from MS's end either, to offer such a deal to make a aquisiton happen, in my opinion.
1. they are private so QD would have to agree to being bought out (MS, Sony or otherwise)
2. heavy rain was fantastic ... but it is still short of 2M in sales. nothing to scoff at but not exactly a game changer. the only people who would care are us forum trolls.
3. lol, MS increase the size of there first partly. lolololol.
Why would Ms want to acquire anyone, especially QD? What IPs does QD have which MS would want to have so badly? None...
All MS need to do is announce that they are hiring people for a new studio and pay better wages or offer better perks, and talent will come to them, without a premium associated with buying a studio.

M$ will acquire none. They are doing fine without 1st party studios. Why would they bother? If you want exclusives, get Sony.
yea right MS acquire quantic dream's only to close them down a yr. later!
quantic dream's would likely seek out Sony first although i fill quantic dream's is more like insomniac in regards to being independent.
