quantic dream's would likely seek out Sony first although i fill quantic dream's is more like insomniac in regards to being independent.

They do like their independence (something Sucker Punch said as well), but they said in an article, either early this year or late last year, that they would be fine with an acquisition from Sony. That probably sealed the deal, but we'll see where things go. I think after their next game (which is trademarked by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe as "Fiv5"), the acquisition will happen.
