LOL, MGS has always been multiplatform O_o

MGS1 was released on PS1 and PC = 2 platforms = multiplatform

MGS2 was released on PS2, Xbox and PC = 3 platforms = multiplatform

MGS3 was released on PS2 = 1 platform = Exclusive

MGS4 was released on PS3 = 1 platform = Exclusive

MGS:Rising will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC = 3 platforms = multiplatform

 

It became an exclusive after MGS3 and now it will be multiplatform again with MGS:Rising.

Metal gear solid and metal gear solid 2 were also on PC, Twin snakes was on the game cube, MGS is coming to the 3DS Rising is set to be released on PS3, 360 and PC. But fanboys like to ignore the fact the series has never been a SONY exclusive one and so far MGS 4 and the PSP games are the only games in the series that has only been on SONY platforms.

The more games have been multy platform than have been exclusive won't stop fanboys complaining that the series is continuing it's multi-platform tradition...

I hope one of those developers to be hired is an actual game developer rather than a movie one

If you don't like long cutscenes / deep stories then MGS isn't for you , as simple as this , go buy Vanquish or something XD .

Don't forget Metal Gear MSX2, PS2 and the NES version doesn't cont because Kojima san himself will not exept that it as part of the Meat Gear universe along with the NES sequel. Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake MSX2 and PS2  Snacher MSX2, PC Engine, SEGA CD, PS1, SATURN, Policenauts PC 9821, 3DO, PS1, SATURN. 

Kojima Hideo san has always put is game on Multiple Platforms. Isn't the resign Metal Gear Solid 4 is only on PS3 is because put money into the development of the Game?
