Are you a sith? :p

I'm sorry but i'm always thinking about Star Wars when i see your avatar. ;)

I joined the dark side a long time ago, seeking vengeance for the way things happened in my life. Now I bend the force and life's path to my will. Are you interested in the ways of the dark side?

on 07 January 2020

I shall consider that offer if you convince disney to make adult Star Wars movies! (maaaaaybe they can be interested after seeing the succes of Joker).

on 07 January 2020

I can show you the scene where Anakin has sex with Leia, is that something you would like? I will work my powers on the executives at disney if you commit to apprenticeship.

Hey! Great to see you back!

Hey, thanks buddy. Nice to get a message from you on my wall. What's new?

on 07 February 2018

Not a lot. Keeping busy with work and playing as many games as I can. Any news in your world?

on 09 February 2018

Yeah man, lots and lots of new things on my end. Mostly in the world of sports, languages and career. I'm doing really well, what about you what's keeping you busy these days?

I owe you an apology for previously ridiculing some of your conspiracy theories. I don't know what the fuck to believe anymore!

Hey, no worries man. At least you have the guts to own up to it.

Don't worry badge, Trump is going to do an OK job. At least he's pulling a big finger to the corrupt establishment and to me that's #1. Sugar on top: he's a great business man, he knows his numbers. Economically speaking you guys will be in good hands.

Just try to clear up all the fear and nervosity that comes from what's unknown. You guys will be fine.

I also honestly don't think he'll actually build a wall. But even if he did, who cares. If it helps america secure its borders, that's a very healthy thing for any nation's self-respect.

on 09 November 2016

Haha, I know. I voted for him! Despite his lack of political correctness I genuinely don't believe he's a warmonger. You only have to look at who lined up behind Clinton to see that: old man Bush, Kissinger, and 99% of otherwise very Republican neocons.

I'm not sure if he'll end up being a good president, but at the very least he'll be hard pressed to be as bad as the last two. And, tbh, I get the sense from Wikileaks that Clinton pushed Obama into Libya when he otherwise wouldn't have done it. It's scary to me that she learned nothing from Iraq and Libya and still wants to depose Assad... and a lot of dumb people who consider themselves anti-war still voted for her as the lesser evil.

on 10 November 2016

And that's the scariest part. That she is considered as the least prone to cause war, when she's the worst.

I don't know why they want to topple Assad, but I am sure it's for the interests of some very rich people who want to get more rich. It's certainly not for democracy.

I'm glad you came around Badge. We need more people who see through the lies. And the saddest of it all are the saps who propagate the lies freely, it's free delegation from the corrupt higher ups, and they are just laughing about it.

on 10 November 2016

Yeah. I'm not sure if it's because of the proposed Qatar-Turkey pipeline, because Hillary's Saudi bankrollers want a key Iranian ally bumped off, or just because the US sees constant intervention as a way to preserve its regional hegemony. Maybe some combination of those. But it's pretty scary how they never seem to learn from their previous failures.

And scarier still how many regular people are perfectly okay with it just as long as it's done by a politician or party they like/trust.

on 10 November 2016

Yeah, it's horrible. It's like I'm seeing it every day now. Of course Trump isn't perfect, he will cater to special interests, but some people are so butthurt that Hillary didn't win that they will say anything to demonize the guy, when she was way worse when it comes to corruption.

There's nothing negative about asking a company to show, not tell.

You're just being skeptical for the sake of being skeptical. You wouldn't do that for Sony, or at least people don't do that when it comes to Sony.

Sure Nintendo messed up with the U, but they have a 30+ year history in console making. It's not one gen that should turn people into cynics.

on 17 May 2016

First off, I'd do the same for Sony: The Last Guardian was supposed to be out for the PS3. PS3 has come and gone, still no TLG.

Second of all, I'm looking forward to the NX. I'm optimistic for it. It's just that from here on out, whether it's Microsoft, Nintendo, or Sony, I'm going to expect them to SHOW, not tell. What I mean by this is until a product is out on store shelves, the product is as good as non-existent.

on 17 May 2016

As long as you're being consistent across the board, then okay.

Reason I was reacting negatively is that people just like to bash Nintendo and it's become very annoying.

Thanks for understanding.

on 17 May 2016

No problem.

Doing great, bro. Been playing lots and lots of music, getting better at the fiddle. Been working hard, making some cash. The more I spend doing what I'm supposed to do (rather than spend my days on the chartz), the happier I am.

Thanks for asking.

Some users post too much.

Yeah, I've been on this site for 9 years and I don't have near the post count of a lot of users.

on 18 February 2016

9 years, hey? Time goes by too fast.

I just found it funny how some users go from never posting, to posting once for every two posts, and even ignoring peoples' posts and posting over them. Happened to me today. It's like if, for some users, there's no balance and it's all about the show. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I prefer to stay consistent if I can, though I do take long breaks too.

Anyway, I'm glad we finally connected. I always found your avatar cool. I see you on here every now and then making thoughtful posts, and then hiding for a while. You seem to be somewhere between active and a lurker, I get the impression you like to keep to yourself.

Hey, I replied to you on Skype. For the past while and for most of the future I won't have internet at home anymore.

However, if we schedule it properly, I could be able to make it happen.

on 15 February 2016

How do you live without a home internet connection?

on 15 February 2016

I sometimes access my mom's tablet to go on the internet, otherwise I usually just play music and use my computer to play tunes.

on 15 February 2016

Now I'm just scratching my head as to how I'm going to be playing SFV going forward.

on 15 February 2016

< OneKartVita posted something on padib's wall:

You're Nintendo scapegoat thread was very well written. I never realised Dreamcast was the first to paint Nintendo as a kids console. Was that a bitter battle?

Thanks OneKartVita.

It was the Genesis that painted the SNES as a kids console. There were commercials which immitated Nintendo IPs and darwfed them besides the moer adult-centric SEGA IPs. Of course it was all marketing and none of it was true, but it had an effect.

That was in the days when people would yell SEGA!!!

It was a bitter batter, sure, but never as bitter as the battle with the Playstation. It really broke Nintendo's legs when it comes to acceptance with the older crowd.

on 10 February 2016

Should Nintendo have done things differently? i find it interesting how all of us who started gaming in the 90's think the fanboy wars only began then. I guess with the Internet expanding it made it bigger because everyone could have their say.

on 10 February 2016

They definitely should have done things differently. I'm confident in the new president now, he seems to be more in touch with what people want, and is less apologetic. I like that.
