I still don't understand the pressure to go 3D. Yes, it worked pretty well for Mario and Zelda and Metroid. But some games are better left at 2.5D. Yoshi's Story was great, Mystical Ninja too.

I really do miss 2D games, even if it takes some balls to do them these days. Top-down (GTA, Micromachines), and simple isometric perspectives too, BTW. Even pinball is 3D these days.



Reality has a Nintendo bias.
