The problem is they've also comitted to only losing $500 million for the gaming division for the fiscal year as well. Maybe it's possible, but I'm not seeing any scenario where both happens short of a miracle. I'll be the first to say how wrong I was if they accomplish it.

SCE as a whole, so alot depands on how the newer cheeper to produce PS2 and the newish PSP sales.

Correct. If they other divisions can garner enough profit (PS2 reduction in parts, as well PSP redesign), they can stand to lose a bit more on the PS3 venture. I'm convinced that the 80GB PS3 bundle they'll be releasing in August will break even or give them a bit of profit on each sale. It's cheaper to produce than the 60GB, and at the $600 price point.

I kinda doubt they'll be able to ship 16.5 million PS3's by end of Fiscal year though. 11 million total shipped seems more feasible.
