I dont think this will affect conesole sales that much or even that all since people just cant fork over 500 to 1000 bucks for an HD TV right after the switch for both non and cable and satelite subscirbers that dont have one. they would have to save up little by little and even then people are not ready yet to make the switch due to other reasons. but over time it will slowly help drive sales for all consoles.
