Most of you don't know too much about X-Seed, which is a small Japanese company founded in 2004. But if you're a Nintendo fan, you should know, and care a lot, because they're poised to become a fantastic supporter for the DS and the Wii.

A lot of you already know about Little King's Story, the Pikmin-meets-Sim City-meets-Warcraft game coming out for the Wii this year. (For those of you who don't, here are a few places to find out more.) X-Seed is also coming out with three new DS games. Most of you are already familiar with Populous, which X-Seed is bringing to the DS this Fall.

More exciting is Korg DS-10, which lets your DS act as your own personal, pocket sized music synthesizer. Even better, you can link up to four DS's at once for maximum synthesizing fun.

Finally, there's the game I'm most excited about: Retro Game Challenge. Sent back in time to the 80's by your best friend-turned evil wizard, you'll be forced to complete several challenges in 80's style NES games in several genres, from the shoot-'em-up, to racing, action, and RPG games. Even better, because games back then rarely explained much, you'll have to consult fictional 80's style gaming magazines to figure out exactly one triggers a portal, or how to learn a certain spell. 1up's video review:

Edit: Forgot to add that they're teaming up with Marvelous to bring us Rune Factory: Frontier for the Wii as well.

P.S. Sorry if some of you find these threads annoying. But after digging through loads of junk for the E3 thread, I figured I might as well spread the word on the games that look like they'll be fun, but which won't get much coverage or notice. Don't worry, this is probably the last of them.
