Tough one; part of me instinctively thinks instantly of Banjo Kazooie as one of my favourite games of all time, but that's also one I feel has aged relatively well for an N64 game and is very much still playable today.

As such, another part of me thinks more along the lines of Sin & Punishment as a game that's more limited by the hardware and could really slap with more power and modern controls.

But Banjo was an absolute pain to play on NSO. It just felt so slow and bad to control and play, it was honestly hard to believe it was so good back in the day and played like that.

A good deal of that is input lag from it being NSO emulation. If you owned the cart, a real N64, and you played it on a CRT like it was intended to be played on, you'd see that your memory of it playing well is justified and accurate. Yes, obviously physics have changed since then, and you would have to adjust. But it's a great playing game. You just aren't playing it the correct way.
