Vita is as big as it gets, and even the DSi/3DS/New 3DS/New 2DS in their XL sizes don't fit in most pockets well. Vita is wider, but pretty sure all those Nintendo XL models I mentioned take up more space in depth in your pockets.
Switch Lite isn't much of a pocketable console at all unless you have huge pockets. It is meant for a carrying case, backpack, good sized satchel, or purse.
I would love a Switch that was the size of Vita or the PSP 3000 (even if some games had less than ideal text readability) but that is not practical for Nintendo. They would have to crunch the Switch specs into that size and eat at profit margins and make the thing more expensive than it should be.
