Impossible to know really. The attach rate to the Japanese population is crazy. There will be exports as well not going to typical Asian countries.
Due to low exchange rate for the Yen, the Switch1 has been (and still is) a good deal for foreigners.
e.g. I can image the 50K+ US military stationed there taking some to families home after or during a tour.
Comparing Row is tricky with older consoles. I believe the DS never sold in China as example.
