Went to see it and I must admit, I was disappointed. Was hoping it would be great, but the story felt kinda pointless and its not really much of a horror movie. Its a horror comedy. Which is fine, but the comedy became a bit much. The main character is just silly so the tension in the scarier scenes became more silly than scary. I still enjoyed some of it and will watch it again sometime, but overall a slightly above mediocre adaptation imo. I also think they were going for some kind of record for the most amount of swearing in a movie. Did overhear several people talking about it as I was leaving and they all seemed to like it, so I might be in the minority on this one.
