Meanwhile, in Oklahoma, 27% of the voter base is Democratic. They have not only have absolute zero representation in Congress, but Oklahoma's congressional delegation is openly and vocally contemptuous of Oklahoma Democrats. They can pretty much afford to say that over one-fourth of their constituents are Godless trash. I know Oklahoma is smaller than California, but it still has five representatives, and 27% is more than enough for one or two Democratic representatives. They are also badly underrepresented in the state legislature. 8 members of the 48-member state senate, which is 12.5%. 20 members of the 101-member state house of representatives, which is 19.8%.
