Mario Kart 8 gets surprise Switch 2 update, adds higher resolutions and up to 8-player splitscreen

This is huge for me. I have a group of 7 friends. We almost never play video games when we hang out because most of them are 4 player at most and we have to take turns. Now we can all play Mario Kart together at the same time. I'm so fucking happy ^^
