A very unexpectedly strong month for the PS5 considering the circumstances with it being up compared to the PS4 despite the price increase earlier this year. Perhaps GTA 6 is why but the Xbox Series doing way worse compared to last month goes against that. It'll be interesting to see just how badly the latter does going forward with it being so expensive now and how many PS5's got sold till it gets another increase.
The Switch 2 did worse compared to the Switch 1 which isn't ideal considering its sales are gonna take a hit after August. It's still ahead of the Switch 1's 2018 overall but it's safe to say that it's gonna do worse every year 2019 onward and it might not even beat 2018 depending on how the rest of the year goes.
It'll still selling really well of course but things could get a little rough next year if they feel forced to increase the price again. And the Switch 1 has its lowest month yet but that recent quarter did breathe a bit of life into it and it getting launched in Indonesia in a few months is a bit noteworthy so it'll be interesting to see how notable the impact of that is. The impact on the Switch 2 and how much Nintendo can grow by spreading to more markets matters way more though of course.
