I've said it before, it could easily hit 160m, there's not really even much of a debate about that ... the demand is there, it's just a bunch of phony nonsense like EU regulations and stuff like that.
If I'm a parent with young kids who where money isn't flowing out of the faucets ... like I would totally buy my kids a Switch 1 or Switch 1 Lite today as their first console. Why would I spend in the $600 range on a Switch 2 or PS5 are you nuts, no young kid who's just getting their first game console needs that much horsepower anyway. Things like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Smash Bros, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 3, Luigi's Mansion 3 are still perfectly able to provide any kid with hundreds of hours of top end entertainment and BOTW/TOTK are totally epic for like a 7 or 8 year old who's friends are playing Roblox or some crap and they play and even still look more than fine. The Switch also has plenty of good 3rd party games if a kid wants to dip their toes into that pool.
