I would argue major releases are significantly less important to a lot of the Switch casual audience as they were to the PS4 audience, who care a lot more about getting blockbuster titles.

Many Switch 1 owners will probably be content to carry on playing the plentiful indie/minor software or their chosen cosy forever game to years to come, not really caring about if major titles keep coming.

That'll be a factor yeah though first party software is way more important to Nintendo platforms than Playstation and the last first party Switch 1 game might've already released. Basically what I'm getting at is I don't think there will still be a significant userbase left 5 years into the Switch 2's life like how the PS4 still has 20 something million people using it every month.
