I’ve owned every Nintendo console and handheld except the Virtual Boy, yet despite all its remakes, I never actually played Star Fox. I finally picked up the new Star Fox for Switch 2 mainly because my kids begged for it after seeing Fox McCloud in the Super Mario Galaxy movie. Honestly, I’m glad they remade it as I never would’ve experienced it otherwise.
The same thing happened to me with Resident Evil 3. Even though I played RE 1, 2, Code Veronica, 4, 5, and 6, I completely missed 3. The PS4 remake was a godsend for catching up on a game I would've never played.
