They did,not to investors afc but to the higher up suits, showed with their skewed digital vs physical numbers that most wont care,sure they might not,and time will tell.

Politics 101:

-Create problem yet blame someone else for causing it and/or standing in the way of solving it.

-Offer solution to the problem that requires transferring power from the people to the Gov or giving Gov additional powers.

-Poorly execute solution and blame others for the faults, while selling the fix as the greatest accomplishment in history, all thanks to them.

-Rinse and repeat.

This works for business too, often enough.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
