Circana's Matt Piscatella:

He is right, but i think he misses 1 verry important detail, if the ps6/helix will be 1k+(and only will get more expensive later on) most first years sales would be from the diehard gamers (and rich people) and most of those gamers i suspect are people like me who loves to collect videogames physical.

I may be mistaken and time will tell but sony is going to have a VERRY difficult time selling a 1k+ ps6 to family's and they will struggle even further with there loyal fanbase.

Iam a loser who cant even spell normally and i read the room and see quit clear ps6 is going to be a disaster.

Whatever sony' vision is for ps, i a fan since 1996 won't be a part of.

This is a great point.

The hardcore fans buy in asap and are typically what helps launch the console in the early years to success. If it's worthy of success that is...

If SNY can't get these diehard fans to bite on a very expensive PS6 handheld and console, then PS3 is going to seem like the good old days.

Offering some type of physical medium would seem like a must, unless SNY has something else up their sleeve that can offset the loss.

I personally have no idea what that something else could be.
