I'm not so sure. The way the world is going, where everything is becoming a rental or subscription, more and more people are starting to get upset and want to return to full physical ownership. There's a reason why so many people don't like what's going on with AI and some are red hot mad about it.

XB has clearly seen GP isn't going to work like they'd hoped, or their exclusive direction. They've somewhat backtracked on exclusives, and might continue further. Plus recent leaks say GP is either going to become much less valuable to subscribers, or that it's going away entirely.

I don't see why XB couldn't pivot, once again, and pull another 180, by sticking with physical media.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
