So, I played through my first run and I like it so far! The graphics are great, the music is amazing and I like the cut-scenes between missions. Some things I still have to get used to: Dialogue is sometimes too on-the-nose for me, some iconic lines have been changed and some of the sound effects are weaker than the original. But I'll play another run later today or tomorrow and see how it grows on me. Muscle-memory failed me from time to time! Also it's weird that they took away the ending cinematics after the easy ending. But overall, I'm impressed! I purposely played a "bad" run (lost Falco in stage 1, failed to accomplish the missions in stage 3 and 4) and I think I'll slowly work my way from worst route to best route lol.
Edit: Did anyone else do an easy / bad play through in purpose to start with? Or did you all just go in chasing those high scores? I just realized how many alternate routes this game has, as I want to unlock every cut-scene. And man, that's gonna be at least five play-throughs!
