That is someting that I'm sure the industry would love to happen, because you'd need to replace the whole thing everytime you upgrade, and that means more business for all (or most) of them.

If they could provide that in a socketed format (as in, a module with the CPU, GPU and memory all rolled together in one that can be slotted into a socket), I'm sure many would love the possibility to upgrade their hardware all while enjoying the benefits of unified memory.

I just fear those sockets would be the size of server sockets, and the boards probably also wouldn't come cheap...
