In addition to how beloved and revered Ocarina is, I think this remake will also benefit from the fact there seems to be a genuine thirst for a more "traditional" Zelda among a lot of older fans, after BOTW and TOTK pursuing a very different formula.

It's been well over a decade and two generations now since the last old school 3D Zelda, that's a long enough that many 20-somethings today were preteens when we last got one.

I started with Zelda NES and then Zelda II. I always wished they would go back to the open nature of 1. I loved LA and WW. Liked OoT but after TP I just stopped playing the series until BoTW. I grew so tired of pushing blocks and the linear nature of it. I doubt OoTR will be a straight remake. They did that with 3DS. Feel this will be a re-imagining. Only guessing but it won't be the exact same puzzles as N64 or as linear as the N64 nor as open as BoTW but something inbetween. What I really want to know is who is making it. Could be internal of course. Guessing it's either an outside studio (possibly western) or a collab project.
