In addition to how beloved and revered Ocarina is, I think this remake will also benefit from the fact there seems to be a genuine thirst for a more "traditional" Zelda among a lot of older fans, after BOTW and TOTK pursuing a very different formula.
It's been well over a decade and two generations now since the last old school 3D Zelda, that's a long enough that many 20-somethings today were preteens when we last got one.
