In the latest month, the gap grew in favor of the PlayStation 4 when compared to the aligned launch of the PlayStation 5 by 0.36 million units. In the last 12 months, the PS4 has outsold the PS5 by 0.94 million units. The PS4 is currently ahead of the PS5 by 3.74 million units. The PS5 has sold 91.95 million units in 66 months, while the PS4 sold 95.68 million units. Month 66 for the PS5 is April 2026 and for the PS4 is April 2019.
