I agree that Nintendos lineup is a bit weak this year, but compared to Sony and MS, they release SO many games each year. To some people Fire Emblem is huge. To others its not. We cant expect them to have amazing lineups that excite all of us every year. I respect them for giving franchises like Star Fox and Rhythm Heaven a time to shine. Games also takes a lot longer to develop now, so the releases will be more sparse. Thats why third party support is more important than ever and Nintendo hasnt had this kind of support since the SNES days probably. The games will come, but we need to be a bit more patient these days.(I should really take my own advice on that one.lol)

hey, i forgot about fire emblem. it is quality and it is huge. thank you for reminding me.

but let me ask you this, what are we considering a "game" when you make that point? if you are talking about the straight number of games published, you are correct, however i dont think switch 2 editions should count the same as an original release, no matter how small the release is. i think starfox and OoT are solid.. but theyre remakes. i feel like these are some of their heaviest hitters, and theyre remakes. its a problem.

i think i should clarify something though, not every year needs an amazing lineup, but the switch 2 in its first full year DID need an amazing lineup.

i could go on but i think thats enough for now

I dont count the Switch 2 Editions either. They are just filler for the most part. Nintendo will probably have more this year. They do like to shadow drop and announce games coming very soon. If they do release big games every month or two, then third parties will suffer. Not trying to excuse them, but I think they are a bit worried about third parties struggeling on their system. Especially with many gamers(myself included)not buying GKCs. In a perfect world we would all be satisfied, but thats literally impossible. I understand your frustration. Im kinda with you on some things. But sometimes you need to take a step back and look at all the issues going on in the gaming industry right now with expensive components, longer development times, gamers being straight up hateful on games they are not interested in, people being fired left and right because their game didnt sell whatever the publisher wanted etc...

I dont know. Its just hard to impress many of us gamers these days I think. We have kinda been spoiled a bit during previous gens.
