Does it really push the other consoles or is it just poorly optimized (like a lot of games are nowadays)? On topic: I played DD1 quiet a lot on the original Switch, not aure if I’ll get this one tho. |
A little of both I think; RE Engine's not as optimal as it should be at running open world games, as seen in MH Wilds, but still, DD2 is pushing RTGI in large open settings with a lot of stuff going on, which isn't a lightweight task for current consoles.
If they can get a Switch 2 version looking and running nicely that'll be an admirable feat, but Capcom have showed a knack for pushing the system already with the likes of RE Requiem and Pragmata, so maybe they'll pull it off.
