Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC), who is running for governor of SC, got a big shock when Trump endorsed Lt. Governor Pamela Evette instead of her, despite Mace's more or less consistent glazing of Trump. Evette currently leads a crowded Republican field in polling, however, while Mace is in fifth place. Her infamous meltdowns apparently didn't impress the MAGA base.
A number of MAGA commentators, including Catturd, George Santos, and Jonah Goldberg, have mocked Mace for her attempts to curry favor with Trump. (Man, it's sad that a convicted felon fraudster and a guy calling himself Catturd are leading Republican voices).
