Nah if you don’t pay for the game, you aren’t owed the game (so long as the profits from the game may still find their way into the hands of the devs). It wreaks of entitlement to suggest that you are justified in consuming luxury content without providing the dev team what they are due.

It's not a matter of entitlement or not. Piracy will happen, whether the industry likes it or not. If people can afford the games, there will be less piracy. If people can't, there will be more. Steam singlehandedly reducing PC piracy over the years proves this.
