Japan, the one major place the Xbox Series outperformed the Xbox One. Mainly because the Xbox One was dead on arrival there. 

Yeah, Xbox One couldn't have done worse in Japan if they tried.  It's a shame that Microsoft blew it with the Series.  The smaller, compact design and cheaper price of the Series S might have performed (relatively) decent if Microsoft had just given people any reason to want an Xbox.   

OT - Switch 2 performs other-worldly for one more week... but seeing Switch 1 sales drop to PS5 territory so quickly is truly disheartening.
