I use a lot of retroarch, for MAME final burn neo seems to work with the most games.  Retro seems to work with most everything, I use it for 99% of emulation, plenty of cores and texture pack support.

I also use a specific Dusk emulation for Twilight.  N64 Recomp is excellent, but limited selection.  I also like Cemu.  For ps2 use PCSX2, works amazing.

The big difference for me is texture packs.  Very readily available and works incredibly well.  Henriko and Evil Games for texture packs.

Thanks for the detailed recommendations! I’m pretty new to emulation, so this helps a lot. I’ll start looking into RetroArch and PCSX2 first.

Retroarch is quite simple.  Works great with NES, SNES, Gamecube, Genesis and Dreamcast.  As in works straight up.  Sega CD, Saturn, etc all work, but is harder require Bios, which isn't hard.  I would start with the simple stuff, get your feet wet.  Then move onto the harder stuff, like Bios required and texture packs.  Just DM me if I can help.
