Copilot can do some extreme maths very quickly (and accurately).  That is my primary use.  

It just makes everything faster.  And the problem is, if China goes all in, the rest of the world doesn't have a choice.  That isn't how a global economy works.  

The West doesn't necessarily need to do everything the same way China does; for example, they have a social credit system that a lot of people would object to be implemented here.

AI's capabilities are overstated; it can be useful in a few specific cases, but it has significant limitations, is prone to errors, is extremely costly, and has numerous drawbacks.

Oh big disagree, massive.  AI speeds up R&D, which feeds product innovation.  Innovation brings in money.

China uses it and we don't,...  the market will be theirs with massive bump of income.  

We absolutely can't sit on the sideline.
