On the topic of Nick Shirley, he is a classic example of the weaponazation of using misinformation on social media. Social media is a cesspool of misinformation that every con person has figured out is a lucrative market to exploit. Since no one does any real research and just knee jerk on every bit of information fed to their bias, all you need to do is feed that bias and you can exploit your way to money.
