Iwata deserves more credit for having the genius idea of not following trends and choosing the blue ocean. Nintendo at around 2003 when the PSP was announced was seen as a company that was on the verge of becoming irrelevant. Iwata changed that with the DS, Wii, 3DS, WiiU(Despite its failure, and he was the one who envisioned the Switch.
Furukawa is making a hell of a job. The Switch 2 launch was a masterclass on to how to have a great launch. But he is not as important as Iwata.
Yamauchi ends up being the most important president just due to how long he was there and where Nintendo was before and after him.
