So Sony has been sending PS4 players notifications about GTA 6 release this year telling them it's a good time to upgrade to the PS5 to be prepared for it. Saying it'll indeed release this November, so no more delays.

There is some rumors we'll be a GTA 6 trailer released tomorrow, May 12th, and also open preorders. Someone was even saying it'll be $70.

The Playstation Store has been without any promotion for some days now, which is extremely rare, but there is a banner there saying we will have "Next Level" offers starting May 13th, which is Wednesday, but the store usually gets updates Tuesdays, like for new PS+ free monthly games (new offers used to start Tuesday too back in the PS4 days too, but there are so many nowdays I actually dunno if that's still the case).

So... are we really moving to full GTA 6 hype starting tomorrow? Is this Sony preparing for it so the servers hopefully don't get down with the unprecenteded influx of access it will generate?

I'd hope so, because some of my friends, all who are still on PS4, went from looking into XBSS, to seriously considering going that route so they can play GTAVI.

Maybe a year or more ago, I brought up that the cheapest way to play GTAVI could very well see a considerable boost during the launch window, along with the following year, and that piece of hardware is an XBSS. That's even more true now because the PS5 was borderline affordable back then, where as now it's out of reach for some and the XBSS looks even more appealing than it did.
