They need to go back to LBP imho, but that ship may have already passed after Sackboy's Adventure. Little Big Planet failed twice with 3 and the Sackboy game, it would not be wise going back to it right now, let it sit quiet for a good while.
I also find the appeal of a train simulator game on a home console very limited, but wouldn't be opposed to them trying it, as I said, IMO, make them do smaller projects for a while, as long as they are constantly shipping them (and Sony help them be able to ship games faster if needed be), until some new ideas stick with people.
Tearaway is a great example, as the poster above mentioned.
