Media Molecule is so absurdly creative, it would be really sad to see them get shut down.

Honestly if they can't hit big numbers anymore, Sony should make them release AA games in a faster output so they can bring out many ideas in different projects that cost a lot less, and both help Sony fill gaps in their AAA spread and bring more diversiy to the platform.

Maybe one of those AA games can find a big audience and a team be expanded into making it a franchise even. Like Little Big Planet.

Getting rid of MM, like they did with Japan Studios, would be such a stupid thing. They could find at the very least a new Astro Bot success cases or two within MM, IMO.

No doubt it, the loss of MM would be unfortunate. But, outside of 2 LBP games, I don't think they've shown either the ability to crank out popular games or even games on a consistent basis.

They need to go back to LBP imho, but that ship may have already passed after Sackboy's Adventure.

All the best to them, bit if they aren't doing a new LBP, I hope they're doing a train simulator using Tren as a base.

Little Big Planet failed twice with 3 and the Sackboy game, it would not be wise going back to it right now, let it sit quiet for a good while.

I also find the appeal of a train simulator game on a home console very limited, but wouldn't be opposed to them trying it, as I said, IMO, make them do smaller projects for a while, as long as they are constantly shipping them (and Sony help them be able to ship games faster if needed be), until some new ideas stick with people.

Tearaway is a great example, as the poster above mentioned.
