I mean, what do you think PSSR is? In the article is says it's not aiming to replace human models (so no generative AI for models) but to improve tools and get results faster, and that is where AI should be used. The thing is, how intrusive are they willing to get, and how much devs would be forced to adapt to it? That can indeed be concerning. He mentioned Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered as an example and I've never read anything bad about AI from any players or devs, so at least until now, I don't see a problem, actually the PSSR update has been exceptionally praised, as is the Sophy AI on GT7.

AI is not always a problem, how intrusive it can get is.

That last sentence sums up my thoughts quite well: People are jumping waaaay too fast onto the "AI = doomsday!!" mentality— the way I see it is as a technological development capable of allowing for many great innovations in the near future. Yes there will be some who use AI to exploit laborers or in order to... um... maximize death in war (e.g. Israel-Palestine Genocide... it's quite a disturbing thing to research, really). BUT I do firmly believe that when it comes to matters such as technological optimizations, AI is a fantastic development and should be embraced in these avenues.

Yes.

Tech is always evolving, that's why we got so many incredible things today, how its used is the important part. AI can be used for a lot of good and bad things, like the internet itself. Which doesn't we should completely avoid it, there are many benefits to be had.
