I still have Sega Master System games from the 80s which I got in the 90s and they work just fine...

Really?  I didn't know the Sega Master System had a disk reader and hard drive.  I guess I stand corrected about disk readers failing and storage drives dying.

Your PC has either a hard drive and/or a solid state drive, and potentially a disc reader and apparently that's not a problem there...

And you are still talking about physical games.

My PS1 games still work just fine too.

Also, your post makes no sense pointing if anything in your PC breaks you just fix it after saying many old consoles failed, it is the same for consoles, you can fix them, if my PS1 stops reading CDs... I just fix it too...

The only problem would be the PS5, as it has the ssd permanently tied to it, so if Sony doesn't allow for the OS to be moved to the m.2 drive eventually, once the internal ssd dies the PS5 will become unfixable, none of the consoles you mentioned are a problem to fix at all, tho. Not even the 360 depending on the model.
