Since everything seems to be going so smoothly for Nintendo, I believe they'll try to hold off a price increase for as long as possible. I can totally see they increasing it early next year when they have at least built a decent install base (30m+).

I agree they will likely hold out as long as possible. And if they have to increase the price a $50 increase IMO is more likely. That would put it at $499.
