Famitsu Sales: Week 16, 2026 (Apr 13 - Apr 19)

This is a pretty unusual week. There's a big new Nintendo game but the Switch 2 not only didn't get any boost it even declined and the PS5 Pro and regular PS5 went up for some reason. Seems the lack of a Switch 2 edition mattered and the Switch 1 is higher than I thought it'd be so I guess this is the very last game that'll cause Switch sales to increase to any notable degree. A 30k+ week outside the holidays this late in its life is pretty insane. This is gonna be the last year of note for the Switch 1 and in Japan in particular it's gonna remain more noteworthy than expected this year.
