Definitely play the Steam version if you ever do, as the PS3 stopped being updated many years ago.

Did you get far enough to fight any boss? There is so much to do on that game.

Yeh, I don't game on the PS3 anymore. I didn't get far at all, I find the controls confusing and the lack of goals in games like that always make me lose focus and will to play, but Terraria is one of the games that stays on my radar.

Yeah, the game will tell you almost nothing, it lets you discover pretty much everything by yourself, you literally can fight a boss imediatly if you want, just have to wait for it to be night and talk to a NPC, but that would be nearly impossible to beat without a decent weapon you can find exploring the game, and some healthy upgrades.

I love this kind of experience, but even so, I would look at the wiki all the time to know what I could do with the stuff I found, as you can combine acessories with other specific ones to make an even better one, and sometimes the combine chain is huge resulting in some insane accesory that provides you with lots of functionality and stats.

I hope you can get in the mood to play it for a while some time, once you realize how much stuff is there aside from digging down.
